Had an amazing trip! The captain and mate were fantastic. They quickly found the fish, and everyone was able to catch one. Unfortunately, we had to release a few since we hit our limit, but it was still a great experience overall.

This charter has an excellent captain who provides great assistance and knows how to fish the Chesapeake Bay. Today, my son and I targeted Spanish Mackerel and Cobia—and let’s just say we ended the day with plenty of fillets!

I took my two sons (13 and 8) on their first charter, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Captain Jeff put us right on the fish, and we reef fished until my sons' arms were tired from reeling them in! We then spent the rest of the trip trolling for Spanish Mackerel, bringing them in consistently. Captain Jeff and Trever were not only fantastic guides but also shared a wealth of knowledge about fishing and the Bay Area. Next time we’re in town, we’ll definitely book the all-day trip. Captain Jeff put us right on the fish, even on a busy day when few others were catching anything. We landed four big Cobia and a smaller one, with two measuring around 48 inches! Mate Hunter played a key role in hooking us up and worked tirelessly to land and handle the fish throughout the trip. An outstanding experience all around!

We chose Captain Jeff for this trip based on his impressive bio (you can’t replace 40+ years of experience with a 2x Master Angler), outstanding reviews, and convenient location—and what a great decision it was! Jeff and his crew aren’t just experts at their craft; they’re also great people who made the day truly enjoyable. The Cobia bite started strong, with two shorts caught within minutes of reaching Jeff’s prime fishing spot in the Chesapeake. Things slowed down for a bit, but they worked hard to keep us in the action. We had never been sight fishing for Cobia before, and what an incredible experience it was! Their dedication paid off with a 44” keeper and hours of potential still ahead. The Cobia were spawning and skittish, showing interest in the bait Jeff and Trevor skillfully placed in front of them. After hours of persistence and patience, we got our big reward in the "bottom of the 9th"—just minutes before heading back, we landed a 55” keeper! Back at the dock, Jeff and his crew expertly cleaned our catch while we relived our amazing 25th-anniversary trip and snapped a few more pictures. We’ll definitely be back for our 26th!

We had an amazing trip! Jeff and Hunter were true experts and incredibly helpful throughout the day. We caught plenty of fish and even got to see dolphins and stingrays. The boat was fantastic, making for an all-around great experience!

We had an incredible 4-hour fishing trip, staying on top of the fish the entire time! Captain Jeff ensured we caught plenty by moving from the river to the bay, which was a fantastic decision that really paid off. The boat was spacious and comfortable, providing ample room to move around. I can’t wait for my next trip and will definitely be booking again with Captain Jeff. My cooler was packed full!

I booked an 8-hour charter with Captain Jeff and his son over the July 4th weekend. Although the morning started off slow, the afternoon was action-packed! They guided us to our limits by the afternoon, showcasing their expertise. I can't recommend these guys enough—they're probably some of the most knowledgeable local guides in the area. Highly recommend!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! We had an amazing day fishing with a fantastic crew. All three of us landed a Cobia—it doesn't get much better than that! We will definitely be booking again!
